Dried is not necessarily toasted.

I looked for that answer here on the forum and didn't find it. So I answered it myself, you really DO NOT want the green Nori as it's roasted and the good stuff is cooked out of it. You want the red or purple. A picture says a thousand words.

Whatever you buy in the supermarket is fine as long as it has no additives

I use the one referenced by @Pistondog above for all my tanks. Just fold them up and the fish gobbled up under 5min.

Heat can destroy nutrients, never mind better not google that.
What does a fish know, a hungry tang will eat other fishes poop. Feed em the green.

Rawnori.com is the site referenced, and wants to sell you their nori, based on a purple seaweed.

Nori can be based on different types of seaweed.
For example. Rod sells 3 types, red, purple, and green, 3 different seaweeds.

So Nori is another name for any kind of seaweed depending on color and not a species of of red algae genus Pyropia? Wow you learn something new everyday.

Fish will eat the 'roasted' however, cooking seaweed reduces and changes the nutrients. You want to prefer sun dried or air dried seaweed or nori. More info here: Fish Health Through Proper Nutrition post.

The nori in many stores have additives and even use woods and other material for roasting and not recommended.
Same applies to certain store bought seafood and should be purchased knowing origin, how/if cleaned and even age of the seafood in the counter
