Nerites for example, carry a small pocket of water within their shells. They can survive quite awhile out of the tank.A lot of my snails are out if the water for my 2 water changes a week. They love the top of the tank for some reason or another. Maybe more algae for them to eat. Who knows. Wild little guys.
Wild man. I don't have any nerits but that's awsome.Nerites for example, carry a small pocket of water within their shells. They can survive quite awhile out of the tank.
Yes, it is normal. I even had snails leave the tank, lay their eggs on the wallpaper and then die from lack of moisture (I think).Hi fellow reefers. Added my first CUC. Combination of different snails, crab, and conch.
Some of the snail are on the glass, all the way on top, with part of the shell not in the water. Is this normal behavior?
