Hey all. My clown fish that I have had since mid Febuary has recently starting swimming near the surface and being somewhat lethargic. Unfortunately the video doesn't really show too much. Please let me know what you all think. Testing water parameters now but my scopas tang, kole tang, goby and all my corals are looking great so I dont think there is an issue with the water. TIA

The video doesn’t show me any definitive symptoms, but the clown is pretty mopey, not holding its fins erect, a bit pale and a bit thin. It probably is not a water quality issue as you said. Is the clown still feeding ok? What are you feeding it?

It just ate pallets infused with garlic before this video. I feed the garlic infused pellets in the morning and then around lunch 1/3 cube of mysis shrimp mixed with selcon. Checked water parameters and there is nothing out of range beside alk which is low on my hanna reading 6.5~.

Well, continue to feed it good. Is there ANY chance that the dynamics in the tank has changed and another fish is driving it up to the surface? You may not see constant fighting, but the clown could be intimidated.
I just don't see a direction to go with any medication. That doesn't mean some medication isn't needed, only that there are no clear symptoms to go on.

Jay as always I appreciate your imput. The clown seems to be doing much better the passed 24 hours. I'm not sure what was going on with him. He's now back to swimming all around and being his normal self.
Thank you!!!
