Okay, here is my situation.

I have a LFS that has sold and traded back frags to me for three years now. I have many "named" pieces from legit sources like battle corals and ORA. Others dont have lineage but they are exactly the same coral none the less. I try not to feed into the hype that has gone on around this hobby lately with names, prices, and complaints. <---- WITH THAT aside because I don't want this thread to be a drama bash thread about coral prices. I need info.

I want to know whats a good price to charge people on this site for a frag packs, I plan to do two sizes, smalll (4 frags 1" - 3")and large (8 frags 1" - 3") and then individual sales of my slow growers like oregon tort and banana carolina (special order type corals) or anything people request which will be negotiated between that person and myself.

Whats a reasonable price in everyones opinion for the frag pack style?

4 - 1" - 3" acropora coral, 2 weeks heal time, encrusted, wysiwyg only posts with pics of mother colonies upon request, with DOA proof (2 hour dead on arrival replacement or refund) include shipping cost.

8 - 1" - 3" same as above.

I only have bought hard coral from 1 LFS in my history in this hobby after it has sat and been watched for 2 - 3 weeks by the owner before fragging, I have never, ever had pests, and I haven't had a tank crash or anything of the sort in a year of growing out. Hopefully that goes without saying for most vendors. This thread isnt to offend anyone or stir drama im sincerely looking for some helpful info from you more experienced sellers out there. Sorry rev if this is in the wrong place.

id say look at what your LFS charges for those corals then cut it in half. That seems to be the price from garage sellers :)

then id be charging 10$ per frag id say not worth it overall, just keep selling to him then? He trades me for new corals

Its going to depend on the purchaser. Find a price that your comfortable with and start there. If you feel like you would pay $50 for it then ask it! There's plenty of fresh cut booger frags out there going for way more than that. And pm me! :)

This is very true.

Also I hear if you put a cool name on it, it will sell better! :)
