That is the "bleaching" of a coral that is talked about when whole coral reefs die off, which is known as Rapid Tissue Necrosis (RTN). Bleaching can occur for a couple different reasons, but scientists do not completely understand the event. Bleaching primarily occur through:

-Temperature swings
-Consistently high temperatures
-ALK swings
-High nutrients
-Improper flow

I'm no expert, so I'm sure there are more people who could chime in that know more than me. I would start testing your parameters and post them here, we might be able to save the frag. You will have to act quick, though, because bleaching can kill off a frag overnight.

my parameters are fine it literally came in the mail like this

I would contact the seller than and explain the situation. The frag became stressed out from shipping. It could make it through, though, with enough TLC. I've had frags that size go back and forth plenty of times.

I threw out the shipping label so im screwed, do you know if a bleaching acro will pollute the tank? that way i can either pull it out, or wait it out

It would matter what it was bleaching from. Did you dip the frag before adding it to the tank?

Then just inspect it to see if there are any bite marks on coral usually circular in shape just in case, but i suspect it was just not healthy when you got it and is totally not your fault. Pics arent 100% clear but looks like RTN or LTN. Just keep lights a bit lower to help acclimate and make sure it has ample flow

also everything operator wrasse said

for sure, i have the blues at 50% since the new shipment. shame everything else i bought looks great, ill look for any bites as well
