About 3 months ago I got this regular hammer with a little green in the polyps for 10 dollars. Today I noticed gold showing up, which is very exiting. Has this happened to anyone else with hammers.

lol nm!

Most corals have the ability to adjust both thier zooxanthellea and thier fluorescing and chromo proteins to deal with different light, temperature, microbes/bacteria/pathogens/parasites and water parameters.

That's what hacks me off with many corals being advertised as something special. It could be the grower has just figured how to stimulate a specific coloration with a specific light spectrum and without revealing the spectrum it's just luck it maintains those colors long term.
