Normal Mushroom Behavior?

I've noticed my mushroom stretching up like this lately. Sometimes cupped like in the picture, sometimes it looks more like a mushroom. Is this normal behavior?

Sometimes, if they are looking for more light, they will do this.

What kind of light are you using?

Do you know the par?

AI Prime in a 20 gallon. I do not know the PAR. It's as far from the light as i can get. I heard they liked low light. Is this wrong? Here's my light schedule, based on one of the ones on AI website.

Some do like lower light but not too low.

How high is the light from the water?
