Normal or not?

I've had this aquarium setup since June. Everything is going well for my first delve into saltwater. My rocks started to turn pink so i thought, cool it's the start of some coralline algea. Now it's turned red and hairy. Is this normal or do i need to do something? The fish and snails seem happy and water parameters are good. Tank looks nice, just curious if it's okay. Thanks for your time!

Looks like cyano, fairly common and usually pretty simple to get rid of.

You may want to use some Chemiclean, follow directions to a T, add an additional o2 source. I use it without issues and with great results.

+ 1 for chemiclean, i have used it 2 times with no ill effects. Just follow the directions.
