Just wanted to say hi after perving the forums for a week or so gathering LOADS of info! Going to try and put together my first saltwater this winter. Looking at a deep blue cube 60 gal rimless w/ 20 gal sump (if it will fit). Trying to get most of my components used locally to cut down on cost and hopefully start filling with water and cycling with live rock and sand sometime by March. Would eventually like a mixed reef setup. Hoping if I do it correctly, I will have a decently stable tank by this time next year. Look forward to learning more and moving forward!

Thanks all! So I went to my LFS with the intention of only getting a tank and stand... walked out with an awesome used Octopus Reef Skimmer and a sump. Woot! Here's the link to my build thread for anyone interested.... :wink:

I'm north of Dayton! I have a mag12 pump I used as my return I could sell you for a cheap price if you're not to far and would help you out. I have some metal halides laying around I could hook you up on too. Pm me if you are interested
