I've had my Norwesco 65gal vertical storage tank for about 4 years now, came out today and its seeping out the bottom.
Seems super strange - these Polyethylene tanks are supposed to very durable and chemical resistant (so since its only ever seen DI water, definitely no chemical degradation!). I dont see any water coming out the fitting either. Looks like it must be from a seam in the bottom.

Anybody else who runs a large PE storage tank ever ran into any issues?

That is indeed strange. Been using the same 65 gallon tank for about 3 years with no issues.
And then another 125 gallon norwesco for about 10 years with no issues. That’s crazy it’s leaking.

Could it be some form of condensation?

I just purchase 2 100 gal tanks for my mixing station build. It could just be a issue with that single tank that could have happened years ago, maybe in production or shipping and such, who knows. :)

No it’s dripped down the side of the stand. Definitely not that.

half the water is drained and it’s clearing up, must be all the weight filled up. Going to do do a big water change in the tank as it’s needed anyway then drain the remaining 30g left and remove it to take a close look at the seams

Interesting... Could be a poorly molded seam but my thoughts are why hasn't it just outright failed and spilt if that's the case. Definitely curious on what you find when you drain it.
