Anyone have a few accidents where alot of water came out of the sump in the cabinet? How did you get under the sump to clean it up? My stupid fault 3 times... my 20g long sump doesn't come out unless dt is off stand which is to hard to do.

The black is coming off the stand. Also any way to keep salt spray to a minimum in a diy sump?

It was about .5 inche in the cabinet the last time. Last time 4 days ago Aqua lifter line fell out.

For the paint use black oil base and the sump looks like the walls or dividers are to high. I lime to keep mine at least 4 inches from the top rim. How big is the display.

75gallon. My sump baffles are 8 inches 7 inches and 8 inches for bubble trap.

The filter sock should only be a couple of inches off the water as well so there is no splashing which causes salt creep.

Your sump is really to small for your systems volume.

Yes but the last baffle is 1 inch off the bottom for a bubble trap.

Nope. 3rd Aqua lifter line fell out. (Not drilled cpr aquatic overflow ). 2nd protein skimmer somehow was pouring outside of the tank (bought a new one got rid of the seaclone) 1st return pipe was dirty it back filled. I swear I'm not a idiot

It's reefing I have had my share. It took me a year of learning to start this new tank I learn every day with new equipment. Helps being a whole seller for every vendor.
