Not Reef Related but this video put a smile on my face this morning.

At first I thought why is this kid messing with this dog and woman? And then he completely surprised me. It makes me feel good when I see videos like this and think of the younger generation; there's some real aces being brought up still :) This kid is a boss dog trainer

Follow him on Tik Tok. He has a ton of great videos like this.

@I never finish anythi I've noticed a lot of people freak out over different dog training methods because they don't understand what they're seeing. It shocks people, even perfectly humane things can be misunderstood. (You wouldn't believe the amount of dirty looks I used to get at the dog park when someone would notice my dogs wearing electronic training collars... insert eye roll here...lol. "No ma'am, I'm not "shocking" my dog, but thanks for your concern!)

I'd also think the people who watch this and don't like this guy, possibly/probably have some disobedient dogs since they're lacking direction and order from a leader. That's really sad, because unfortunately some of those people will get a breed of dog that NEEDS to be socialized and trained properly, but they don't do it, and the dog is the one who pays in the end if they bite someone or something. It's never the dog's fault when those things happen - it's 100% on the owners. Most of the dogs that need this kind of help were in my opinion, failed by people. There ARE cases where nothing anyone did would have helped, but sadly the majority of behavior cases as extreme as this video could have been prevented. (We had a german shepherd and a siberian husky growing up, definitely breeds that need structure and training). This kid (I don't know how old he is, just looks younger than me, lol) has a deep understanding of dog behavior to be able to do what he does and that's awesome!

There is another trainer I really like on youtube - Joel Beckman. He started out training orcas, left seaworld and ended up creating a dog training program that has helped a lot of dogs & owners. If I lived in CA I'd want to hire him to work with one of my dogs who is fear aggressive. He has a ton of videos on youtube though. :)
