My tank has been up and running for about 6 months. I don’t have any problems with algae or anything but these weird bubbles have started to form around my return pump and in my overflow box and am wondering if something is causing it.
Alkalinity is 8 and calcium is 380.
I started dosing two part a couple of weeks ago trying to get my levels back up & haven’t seen any sign of precipitation (unless this is the beginning stages) any ideas on if these bubbles mean something or am I just thinking too much into it?

Are you running a protein skimmer/dosing anything superbly oily lately? The bubbles are probably just the result of foam fractionation (i.e. in-tank protein skimming) within the tank, and nothing to worry about.
