I have had my new bangii cardinal fish for almost a week now and he just will not eat IV tried brine mysis bloodworms garlic pellets flakes and nothing go in his mouth he just swims back and forth across the tank Im worried if he doesn't eat he will die. PLO help is there any thing I can do to get him some nutrition
Ps I want smart enough to ask my new lfs if he was wild caught and it turns out he is

You could try live brine or blackworms....does his mouth look full and slightly distended? The males brood the eggs in thier mouths, but I doubt it that large.....if it's is, they don't eat while brooding the eggs. You could also try mixing garlic with the frozen food to stimulate the feeding response...not just the garlic pellets.

Yes that's what I did I mixed the frozen with garlic I will try live food

Frozen mixed with garlic extract, not just garlic pellets mixed with frozen.

X2 this is exactly my thoughts.

Well I will try live and I dontbthink his brooding because its only about an inch long

I think they stopped making this but if you can find some buy it. I have 2. One stopped eating for a whole month and this was the only thing that worked. I'd mix with tank water and feed him from the turkey baster. That went on for a month and now he eats everything. It was weird tho
