Hi,

I have an adult majestic angel and a powder blue tang in quarantine. both are not eating. Otherwise, they seem healthy.

Any tips? I have tried pellets, larry' food, clams and scallops.

Are you running any meds currently? Are you offering nori or other algae for them to graze on?

Dim the light, cover the viewing pane and give them a rest. Then quietly tell them if they don't eat they can't go into the DT, and also tell them that you are not going to eat them and that you are planning to provide them with a great reef home. If they don't listen take them back to the LFS.

Yes, I'm drinking again. Yes, I talk to my fish. Gl

What size in your qt, neither of these will like a small tank, 36" tank at least. Internal parasites is also very common among these 2, I would dose general cure. If it is internal parasites, time is of the essence.

A majority of my fish didn't eat for the first week after acclimation. Continue to monitor and ensure water perimeters are pristine. I know you said you tried feeding clam but were live fresh clams? Usually fresh oysters are clams entice them to start eating.

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
