Not even sure if they're zoas or polyps

I'm looking for help to figure out what kinda coral these are. I've had them for a few months now and they've never looked different than in the pic. Thanks for any help

edit: looking at the second photo, it does look like a half-closed paly. It also looks a little like a half-shriveled favia (https://rockymountainfrags.com/shop/joker-favia/)
