Thanks for the reply so fastYou could easily add another baffle section in the middle, though I'm not sure you'll have enough room for a true refugium...how big is this tank?
Didnt wanted to hear that but yea I think ima have toI would remove the current baffles and completely re do it.
Was thinking of adding a hob skimmer and do the refugium in the middle but people I talk to say hob are not that good
Oh and it's going to hanging on my new 40b. Which will also have a 20L sump totally dedicated to intake, fuge, return. 3 chambers only. Which is exactly what you have there
I've been running the Reef Octopus BH-1000 "HOB" skimmer for over a year. This skimmer is a beast! Google it and YouTube it for reviews. Proof is seeing them in actionOh and it's going to hanging on my new 40b. Which will also have a 20L sump totally dedicated to intake, fuge, return. 3 chambers only. The hang-on skimmer, vs. in sump is a long debated issue which have good merits for both sides.
I like to hide as much of the equipment as possible, down in the sump.
I've seen pictures of NanReefers tank and it looks awesome. So it can be done either way.
It's just a matter of preference and money and time.
