Not seeing alerts on app

Just got the R2R app and I can't see any alerts. I'tll send me a notification that I have notifications but when I hit it or hit the alerts button it says I don't have any. What's wrong? I've tried shutting it down, restarting, ect. Thanks!

So just keep the page pulled up and delete the app? What use is the app if I just use mobile site?

The mobile site has been updated since the app first came out. I find the app isn't useful. I just put a shortcut to the R2R forum I use the most use it that way.

I love the app since it is much faster than loading the mobile site on my older phone or tablet. The downside is no alerts.

That's usually a browser issue and not the site.
