Not shipping my fish

Make you sure you put your fish in an observation tank so you can examine it before putting it in your display tank. You don't wanna get velvet and have them all die. It doesn't have to be a big tank (Like a 40 gallon tank from petco for like $50). This will allow you to observe it and treat copper if needed.

I don't have a tank and I don't have other stuff in the tank other than damsels. Also alittle late, I put them in 3 hours ago.

here's the list of what I can get pick 2.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for scamming the scammers. But did you not just file a dispute with your credit card company? Seems to me the vendor is just racking up evidence to dispute your claim, especially if they’re shipping you replacements (shows they’re attempting to make the wrong right). Best of luck, but seems we haven’t reached the point of learning yet. After all this, I wouldn’t touch this vendor with a 10 foot pole regardless of what they’re offering me.

So you went with the rabbit fish and the pyramid butterfly?…this all sounds like it has been a MAJOR hassle. I can’t imagine how stressful this has all been for you. I hope you get the healthy fish you want…and I hope this all works out for you. :)

Hey everyone messes up, they also said they are in nursing school, it could just have been busy. If they want to make it right they are doing it the right way, especially since this is worth way more than what I payed, here's a pic of the cbb and male lyrtail in a cave.

I mean.... you have to wait and see if the fish live more than a few weeks before I would decide if it was worth it.

That is not a jab at you, not saying you will kill them but a lot can change over the next week and the health of these fish. Fish can look healthy but it really doesn't mean anything. I hope they do well for you. If you notice any issues, please post ASAP so we can help.

Again, cut your losses at what they are. Cancel the dispute. Accept the replacement and move on to a new vendor regardless of what happens with replacement

Far too many red flags. At best this is a struggling or poorly organized seat of the pants business. Dump it in the ocean or send it back… they don’t give two hoots about you or the fish. There are far better vendors that are far better for you and the hobby.

Yup, I agree. I already set up alerts for when reef buetty has the fish I want.

1000x this. If you’re accepting the replacement(s) you gotta cancel the dispute. Can’t have the best of both worlds, you know what you’re getting yourself into at this point.

If you're in nursing school that is essentially your life especially with the updated certification test making it much more difficult to get licensed. I know from experience you can't do this hobby and nursing school. I had a tank crash likely due to my own negligence at one point while in school. On the floor you can kill someone just by taking their blood pressure wrong, it's pretty hard to kill a fish just by taking water parameters. Keep taking blood pressure on a patient with a rue fistula 2x because you didn't have proper charting or didn't notice it in the history and you could cause of blood clot to break off and kill the patient. After a 12-hour round of clinicals I was in no shape to even think about the simplest tank maintenance I needed to do.

Holy crap. I miss a day of keeping tabs on this thread and they actually sent fish over??? And still alive??? That’s so crazy lol

And…sent extra fish! Fish the OP (and most of us) can’t keep but extra fish none the less!

Yeah these people didnt “mess up”. The thing about the nursing school? BS. Dont take anything at face value and dont deal with them at all, store is a scam. Keep an eye on the fish, the shrimps I got from them died within a week (the ones that lived through their awful shipping).

Yeah I’ve gotta agree with the masses. I wouldn’t get anything from them any more. Cancel the dispute and let these fish destress. Keep an eye for possible illnesses. In the mean time, save your cash for a QT tank, and shop from a reputable source. Don’t stock the tank too fast, especially since these were from a shady source. You want them to build their immune system back up before adding any others and risking a full on tank crash.

Not me I'm in highschool, the fish seller.
