Just when I thought I was getting it ... I ended up hoping the theory all pipes lead to the ocean is true.

5 fish, cucumber and urchin all in 24hrs thanks to a spike in ammonia.

So now I've done a 50% water change, salinity good, rocks ok, coral seems ok, one lonely clown and sand star is somewhere.

My question is after a water change like that, what is the priority?? It is like starting from scratch but not

Thanks!

Well...figure out why you had an ammonia spike is first. Don't add too many fish back at once as the balance is all out of whack now. But that's due to losses not the WC. Big WC is just a big WC.

Thanks! All I can think was a rouge dead fish, but the tank is 75gal. Or it's the hair algae I'm battling. Definitely taking it slow ramping back up!
