ive had this hammer coral for about 5 months and it always had this small brown polyp growing on an unoccupied branch. it has detached multiple times and i have three of these guys now (found a spot on the rock and attached to it). it doesnt look like the hammer coral polyp so i wanted to get info on what this could be.

EDIT:
thanks everyone for the quick reply. im going to get a peppermint shrimp to get rid of these guys. any other methods to get rid of them?

kalk paste, in a syringe kill before there are more than 3. Dont move or break, each piece will make a new one.

Aptasia-X works, could hand remove if you can take rocks out. Kalk paste does the job as well.
