Hi, I just started my tank in June 2022 and am obsessed. I have little knowledge of what I am doing, but hey, that’s why I'm here! This is what I got so far. A good bit of green, what looks like pineapple sponge on my snail and in chamber, spaghetti worm, and a lot of other things I’m not so sure about. If you see things that I could change, do better, or if I’m slowly killing my stock let me know! And thank you!!

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. From your last photo, not sure if that is sometjhing you are seeking a little tip. If so, here is mine: This is a little algae scrubber we've built using bristles from scrub brush and bit of spare tube. Toothbrushes aren't firm enough for scrubbing my rocks. Super glue holds bristles into flexible tube, which gives me a nice scrubber for algae. When I'm doing water changes, I can lift rock out of water, scrub it with my flexible scrubber, careful not to scrub coral, rinse rock with bucket water that was about to go out the door, and that green is knocked back to manageable levels. We use an exacto knife to cut bristles off scrub brush. I've worn thru multiple little scrubbers (giggle) which is why so many bristles are missing.

I dont see presence of any cleanup crew (snails and crabs)
Are you using RODI water or tap water from the faucet?
What is your phosphate and nitrate level ?
Is your tank at or near a window?

You can clean glass with an algae sponge/magnetic glass cleaner/edge of an old credit card and net the suspended matter and discard. On the rocks- reduce white intensity OR hours of white light, then pull as much as you can by hand and then add the following snails:
Astrea
turbo grazer
trochus
nerite
nassarius

Based on size of tank photos- 3 of each

Also :
Pencil urchin
8-10 carribean blue leg hermit crabs (which are tiny)

Hey, and welcome to the site.

You are at a tipping point in the algae in the tank and all of the above will help... maybe a rent a tuxedo urchin from an LFS. But you will need to combine biological and manual before it gets away from you
