I have one frag remaining, but it has struggled from Day 1 and has green hair algae all over it where the flesh isn't. At present, there is no algae elsewhere. Should I just throw it away before it infects the rest of my tank? There's no possibility of simply fragging off the algae-infested areas. I've tried manually removing it. Is there a dip for such things?

Hydrogen peroxide dip has worked for me on Zoas. I have seen other threads on using a Qtip just on the algae. Some corals cant tolerate the hydrogen peroxide.

In my experience it won't spread unless you give it the right conditions.

What is the frag? Depending on the frag, I would do a peroxide dip.

I think it's a moon brain. They called it a diploastrea in the store.

Remove it from the plug?
It's not on the plug as much as the coral itself :/
I didn't get a chance to do anything before I left. Hopefully it's not too late when I get back in about a week...
