I got some live rock from TBS. Not sure what this is. Maybe a type of coral?


Then there is a shrimp type critter. Kind of the same shape (as far as I can tell) as a amphipod, but it's not Grey. It's more clear with red. Can't get a good clear picture. It moves pretty quick inside its hole in the rock.



I'm gonna have to get a peppermint shrimp to clean up some aptasia type anemones.

It looks like an NPS coral. Not sure I can give a better ID without clearly seeing it. You also have an amazing Chitin on that rock, big dude. A small clam, a barnacle, and I wouldn't worry about the nem. Not sure about your shrimp without getting a clean shot

could be a curlyque or a warty. They are not invasive and not very potent stingers if a fish bumps them.

You can see a full one in the second pic top center left and tentacles of others top center right. They are more translucent then the normal brownish aiptasia. Some have more of a whiteish stem and white on the tentacles.

That is some really great looking rock.

I think I've seen a couple of chitin on the rock. The barnacles stopped opening to feed. There's a few bivalves and a ton of brittle stars. Looked like a few cup corals as well. There's a few other things I'm trying to identify.
Got one of those flipper magnifying lens which is how I took these pics.
