Is it hair algiae do I try and take it off or is it part of the zoa?

It’s algae. Try and pick off as much as you can, it could smother the zoas.

Yes that’s hair algae. Take the frag out of the tank and light scrub it off with a tooth brush but fair warning it might come back and spread to the rest of the tank
