This sprouted up a week ago. I'm still pretty new and not sure if I should be worried about it. This in a 24 gal. Cardiff tank. Its been running about 10 weeks now. Peramiters are 1.025 salinity, 0 nitrates, 0-2mg/l nitrates, temp. 79°, calcium 440, all (New test kit is on the way), ph 8.2
Any suggestions, or am I worried over nothing.

Thanks

Kinda hard to tell what you're talking about, in that photo. The Kenya tree looking thing; the green algae; the dark spots on the rock?

Should have specified, oops, the green algae. It's spread through my tank, just making sure this is a normal thing or if I have something that is off.

Usually see green coralline like that when your phosphates are a bit high.

Very normal in newer tanks. My rock too is covered :) Eventually it will turn purple as the Coralline algae out competes it.
Does NOT mean you have high phosphates.

as you can tell in the pic. R.M. Gave me the same advice about green coraline. Even my lfs didn't know what it was. Now about a month later it's darker with pink spots all over the place.
