So, my Serial Killer Clown appears to be sick. Since he was the only guy left in the display tank, and noticed this, I pulled him out and put him into a 10g nuvo that I was setting up, just for him. When I first noticed this, i treated with PraziPro as directed in both my display tank and 10g solo tank. A week went by, thought all was good, the spot for the most part disappeared, and I decided not to dose him again it reappeared. Started the PraziPro again, this time just the 10g solo tank. I do have new fish in the display tank and noone is showing any signs (yet).

As mentioned, he is a serial killer. He killed 5 fish in the display tank and initially, I though the white spot was battle damage.

TD;DR - what is the whitespot? Just started second round of PraziPro, any other suggestions? He is solo right now.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic :\

well ordered Ruby Reef Rally off amazon. Seeing how LFS did not have anything in stock and having issues locating any of the other recommended meds on the list in a timely fashion. Need to go back and re-read the meds to have on hand post.

If you really want to save this fish, I recommend fresh water dips for 15min, (make sure temp. and PH match QT) every other day for 5 treatments. Leave your DT fishless for 8 weeks, during this time period if the clowns show symptoms of brooklynella repeat fresh water dips. It has worked for me.

15 minute freshwater dips is a bit extreme. 5 minutes is the max time in a FW dip that we recommend.

Sorry had to re-read the article. Your right melypr1985 only 5 min. make sure to aerate. This is because the Formalin is no longer available.

Well, just did a fresh water dip (RODI) for 5 mins. There was a bunch of crap that fell off him. It was not medicated water yet, but nice to see some of the parasites fall off. Hope it gives me a little more time.

Is your display tank fish only?

He was pulled from my main tank since he killed everyone - it's in his own 10G nano now. Going to turn that into a frag tank with him as part of the bio load.

Well - Serial Killer did not make it though the night. I started my 1st day of Ruby Reef Rally. Now time to do a water change and run carbon for a while to clear out the med's. Time to get ready to set this tank up for a 10g frag tank.

Sorry for the loss. That sucks. :(
