Not sure what this is...

I’ve been seeing these little guys on my glass daily after using my flipper to remove them they come back everyday my day but honestly not sure what they are...they do look like some sort of Star but never noticed them in any of the tanks I’ve ever had hoping you guys could help!

Medusa stage of hydroids, if they are becoming a nuisance you can look for hydroid colonies on your rocks and remove those. It should help. I have also heard of people using Fenbendazole to clear tanks of them.

They usually appear in new stages of a tank, but will disappear rather quickly if you keep maintenance on the regular. Nothing to worry about.

thanks and it’s a little weird because it’s not really new i would say, I upgraded my nuvo 10 to a 20....and the 10 was set up for about a year so nothing has gone bad, but maintenance is what I’ve been doing anyway since sitting home so it isn’t a problem either way, appreciate the info though!
