I had a long day at work came home and tested phosphate with my salifer kit and wasn't thinking when I was finished I dumped the test results in to my dt instead of the sink. Smh. Should I do anything? Or hope for the best. There has been no immediate signs of anything yet.

I'll do a 10% water change to be safe. Run carbon and skim like crazy for at least a day.

...don't feel bad, you're not the first to have done this, water change and carbon is a really good recommendation.

Thanks will do. I'm running carbon in my reactor that is a week old and mixing up some new sw now.

24 gallon its a 29 biocube

Was in the meantime making calculations. With your dt volume, the amount added is far less than required to have a major impact on e.g. Urchin larvae.
So I expect no problems.

Water change is always good to reduce concentration of undesired substances.

Carbon will do nothing.

Maybe his molybdate is low (mine is) and it will be beneficial. :)

Yes, that might be and I have not seen adverse effects with elevated concentration of Mo. The "concern" was for some other things. :)

Calculated if volume would be approx. 100 liter or more than that would be on the safe side for inverts.
His answer of 24 gallons was close and good enough :)
