Not sure whats going on with my BTA

Here is a Pic of what it looked like when I got home this evening. Any ideas on what its doing? I fed it a silverside yesterday and that looks like what its trying to expell now. But it also looks like its tring to maybe split.

Any better pix??? Kind of hard to see... But it's not uncommon for them to expell silversides since there so big I don't think the digest them fully... And nothing wrong with a split if that's the case...

where its at in the tank thats about the best pic i can get. The mouth is not centered at all anymore and im pretty sure that was the leftover silverside it never did put it all the way out before the lights shut off now i cant see it. what do they look like when there splitting?

Sounds like it might be splitting! Do the tentacles still look happy?

The tentacles look fine. its now moving around the tank from where it was its moving across the glass into a area of more flow and looks like its well inflated. this morning it had a crease in it. It also did expell most of the silverside i gave it the night before last I found it on the sand bed this morning

I would stop using silversides, and whatever you do use, use smaller pieces.

Silversides is alll it and the parent has ever been fed .I have the clone and its about 3 months old. The parent is almost 9 years old and thats all hes ever fed it. Just wondering but whats wrong with silversides? I feed krill to my bubble coral would it be better? Also here is another pic of it this morning.

Myself (( and other experienced anemone keepers that I know )) have had issues -- fed one to a healthy H. malu, the next morning it was dead. IMO/E, there is better food out there, safer.

What size tank do you have?
What lights ?

Don't like that your's is up on the glass at the water surface -- E. quadricolors are rock dwelling anemones.

If you want to use silversides cut them into small pieces...

Trex its a 90 gallon tank with 2 250w 20k MH and 90w of actinic t5. it had been in the rocks up till today and it went on the move. it has now settled back in the rock and hasnt moved for about 4 hours. My other bta hasnt moved in over a month sense it settled in when i got it. As for the silversides I had cut this one in half, I think ill keep giving it to my condy till its gone but give the bta's frozen krill and and brine shrimp. What do yall feed yours?

It could have been a reaction to the silverside, but... what are your current water parameters, with numbers please.
Has anything else changed in the tank?
Are you running carbon?

I feed mine (( currently have an S. haddoni, M. doreensis, and 2 E. quadricolors - all different tanks )) frozen (( thawed )) krill, but I haven't feed any of them in about 6 months -- excluding what they catch when I feed the fish. Though I will try to remember to feed them this weekend.

Not sure why it would purge the silverside then start moving, Its not moved sense it got back on the rock and I took that last pic. the lights are off now and have been for for almost a hours and its still wide open shouldnt it ball up at night?. It did move from a area of almost no flow to a area of considerably more flow. and caused me to have to move my bubble coral. Im really new to keeping nems ive had sw tho for several years and have had my big condy for about 3 years and two tank upgrades. I got the btas bc im thinking of going to a all nem or mostly nem tank and trying my luck at some clowns. I know maroons are the natural host to btas and id like to try a haddoni or a gigintia (sp) later on as i gain some more knowledge on how to keep nems and do some snowflake or other designer clowns. Its late lol im going to bed thanks for the help. any more advice is greatly welcomed
