This is really my first post here so hello everyone! Im hoping you guy's can help me out.
I have been in the hobby about 4 years now, a 10g reef for three years has been upgraded to a 16g bowfront for the past year. The problem im having is with lighting. I bought the Nova extreme pro 20in fixture, and its impossible to find the 18in bulbs. I know Current made them, and i know UVL did some for nanotuners, but now i cant find any. My bulbs are a little over a year old...
Im not having any problems with algae YET, but it'll be coming soon and im trying to avoid that. Im looking for lighting suggestions from you guy's. I keep mostly LPS, with a few softies and two clams. A Derasa and a Squamosa. So, im needing something strong enough for the clams, which are by far my favorite inhabitants of my reef. Would a single par38 work well, or perhaps two par30's? Im willing to spend up to $250 with tax returns upcoming. So im thinking either some LED pendant(s), maybe a used clamp on MH?
I'll post some pictures of my tank here soon for you guys, i appreciate the help!
