Not sure why anyone would want the ugliest fish

Hey what’s wrong with hairless chihuahuas! This is my “sister”, she is an 11 year old Chinese crested/chihuahua mix.

OP I would probably agree with your other half, I tend to like the “ugly” fish too lol. I find they have more personality.

My wife thinks ALL dogs are cute, even the half blind warty ones.

We have a chiweenie ourselves, same color as your dog, but long and low to the ground. I think somewhere along the line they must have bred chihuahuas with hampsters, their skin so so thin!

I vote for some sort of frog fish, but that would probably limit other inhabitants.

I do not, do you know what a pain it is to keep a 2 pound dog in clothes lol?! I will put a shirt on her before mom comes to pick her up though. shhhh mom doesn’t know that her pupper is a nudist at my house lol.
Now found respect for you! Your secret is safe with me...

Call some ugly if you will , but Saltwater fish are unique in many ways and hence makes this hobby interesting and a conversation piece. It's the colors, shapes, the teeth, the markings and even the ugliness that makes us collectors of not such plain old fish, but rather Specimens

Here is a list of predatory fish not all of them are ugly
  • Scorpion fish
  • Sea goblins
  • lionfish
  • Ribbon eels
  • Triggers
  • Puffers
  • Groupers
  • Snowflake eels
  • If your tank is big enough maybe a shark or ray
