Yes. It will strip your phosphate down to full 0.000 if you try to overcompensate and add too much at one time. [emoji849]
We now add about a tablespoon in a *very* fine mesh bag (topfin) to sit in an HOB filter on the back of a 75 gallon tank overloaded with fish.
I would start there and give it a week. Then play around with the amount over the next few weeks. [emoji846]
