Notch skeletal growth?

Don’t recall seeing this provision coming off this torch when I got it (bottom left). Does this look like skeletal growth? My first torch experience.

not quite sure what you are referring to - u mean the white part on the base of the torch? Generally bone growth happens inside the flesh, so what you'd expect to see is that the head where the mouth is is going to slowly split into 2 (almost like a shape of 8). then the two will gradually separate, and each with grow "up" its own skeletal structure for its own branch.

bare bone doesn't spread like that so I'd guess that white sttuff is something else.
