Hi, Why did you come to that conclusion? We ship arcos in plastic bags... why would floating it change anything? If anything what type of lighting did you have the corals floating in? Parameters? What is your acclimation process?

Maybe I'm a lunatic but it can't be good for them ?

I mean long periods definitely not but within 24hrs typically not an issue. I just floated 3 bags of Walt Disney and Starry night acros for an hour no issues. I even dipped them 3 times with CoralRX.

Where did you get your pieces from, something seems fishy... ;)

Live aquaria. Who knows I ran home to grab the package on lunch. Floated and dipped it. We shall see when I get home. I'm hoping to see some polyp

Might just need to rest for a bit, I would make sure you document the crap out of the unboxing at least to cover you for the LA DOA policy (which they are good about at least in my experience). Keep the thread posted, I'm interested to see how things turn out for you.

I’ve always floated everything in clear plastic bags in the display (AIO tanks) acros, zoas, nems, fish, clams, everything. Something’s not right. They wouldn’t bleach from temp acclimating in a bag for an hour.
