whats going on with it? Ive seen it close up before. But just not sure about this

Doesn’t look right. Get a pic with whites on
 
Just fed it 2 days ago and it seemed fine
 
How long have you had it for ?
 
it has kept color and foot has stayed attached once it found this spot
 
It kinds looks like it split. I've heard of people feeding heavy to induce splitting but never done myself. Just keep an eye on it for a few days and dont feed it any more.
 
Did you acclimate to new lights?
They may be stronger than what it was under.

Also what did you feed it?

I normally don't feed for at least a couple weeks when new to tank, but what you feed can make a difference too.

I just noticed that line, maybe, very common to new tank params and agree, feeding too heavy can actually induce a split

Couple pieces of mysis every couple of days starting from day two. Figured it wasnt getting fed at the lfs, but yeah I noticed that line as well
