Noticed something growing on my hammer this morning

Hey, new here. Was hoping someone could help me figure identify this little guy attached to my hammer. Just want to make sure it’s not going to become problematic

Possibly benthic foraminifera as well, which are also harmless filter-feeders. Brief air exposure does not seem to impact these protists. These are also rock-solid, while the sponges in my systems have all been “squishy.”
