Notmal for a elegance coral?

Yesterday it truly shrunk up for the first time. My lights haven't come on today yet to see if its better (was a little better last night)

Wondering if this is normal.

might consider removing from disk,placing on rockwork ,lower in tank facing up at 45 degree angle,they like to lay out,not hang in mid water

Thank you. I'm being extra worrisome because I have high phosphates in my tank and have been bringing it down with phosphat-e and am worried about reactions from corals. Yesterday it went from like the pictures above to basically all I could see where the tentacles no joke. I was horrified lol
