November BARF Meeting...

Date: November 22, 2009
Time: 1 p.m.

Feel free to trade frags or bring whatever you would like to swap around. I'll show my little setup and talk a bit about how I have everything scheduled.

I think it would be a good idea for everyone to bring water samples from their tanks and their test kits and have a little testing party. We did this at Paul's one night and it's amazing the differences in kits and readings. I'd say, check it by mine, but they are out of date as well!

Menu:

BBQ chicken (I have a couple to three styles of sauces)
Potato Salad (maybe someone can bring chips - just in case)
Baked Beans
Banana Pudding (someone may want to bring something else)

If you are a vegetarian, first off, I'm sorry. Second, bring something to eat as I put meat in everything... maybe even the banana pudding.

PM me for directions to Cleveland/Locust Fork Area and to the house.

So who's gonna be here? Head Count!

Dang, Of course I would have to miss this one as well lol. But it is for something a little better. We have a baby shower in Jackson, AL at the same time so oh well. maybe December's meeting since we wont be able to travel then cause of us being to close to our due date. so we will see. lol sounds like fun though. I'd love to have my water checked cause i'm pretty sure all the params are all off cause mine are cheap tests lol. will have to buy some new ones since i just ran out of it the other day.

Woohoo three!

We're burning it up now!

Also, installed a GFO reactor today and replaced a couple of actinic bulbs. Hopefully it'll burn in to a look I like, if not, the blue+ will come out and the super actinic will be ordered to replace it!

I'm gonna try and make it, my parents will be in town for the weekend, but I take them to the airport for their flight home Sunday I think around noon. I'll try to confirm early next week.

The only invitations I sent was this thread. I still haven't posted it at the other forum because most of us are here now.

Let's see that's what.... somewhere between 8 - 10 folks, trying to get a cluck count.

I'm planning for somewhere between 10-12. We don't have a whole lot of parking in the driveway, but it's held more than this and there's always the road.

We're just about a couple miles North of Locust Fork in a subdivision called Riverview Estates (you cross the river coming North and no, we don't have a view of it)

Once you enter the subdivision, drive to the back and bear left. We're the second house on the left, not the HUGE house across the street.

I should have some bbq chicken, baked beans, potato salad and some puddin' if I get to it tonight. I planned to make a few different sauces, but since someone took me to the ballgame today, I may have to cut back to a couple.

If I get time, I'll even try to clean up the tank, just remember... I'm not Paul, don't expect white sand and perfectly clean glass. Most of you have my home/cell but if you don't and you need it in case you "pull a Noles" and get lost... let me know.

Potato salad, BBQ Baked beans, and Nanner Puddin' is in the fridge, sitting on ready...
Chicken is brining, waiting on the grill, sauces... well saucing.
