Well after a week of reading the manual for my Canon S3, researching MB's and advice from Coralnutz. I finally got some decent shots.

Tank lighting is 150 MH 20 XM, no actinics.
Canon S3
12x optical zoom
Shot in AV mode
ISO 80
Supermacro setting
F2.7 I think.
tripod
10 sec Timer
Pictures were cropped in MS Paint.
We have Photoshop, but i'm not really that far ahead yet.

BTW, Using a PVC pipe to set the Custom White Balance blew doors!!!!. Major difference man.

I feel your pain. I have an S3 and can't seem to take photos worth a crap. I can take better macros with my old A610. Shoot some pointers my way.
