I just started up my tank about 2 weeks ago and the nitrogen cycle has begun the ammonia levels are in the danger zone.I use the food method to start a cycle. now what do I do, just leave it alone?start doing a lot of water changes? Need some help here thanks guys

You should see a conversion of the ammonia to nitrites. Then, after you get enough nitrobacter, the nitrites will convert to nitrates. I normally leave my tank alone until I get a good diatom bloom. I then do a huge water change, let it sit for a few more days and add a clean up crew. After a week or two with just the clean up crew I slowly start to add fish, 1 at a time and then coral.

If your QT tank is cycled, put your first fish in so you can observe/treat while DT is cycling. Unless your going to just add first fish straight to DT (not recommended).
