Is anyone dosing higher than 1 drop/27 gallons of NP pro to bring down nitrates?

Good question. I am using the auto dosing 2000 ml solution.

Are you nitrates high, or coming down?

Yeah they are a bit high. Hard to tell but over 25. I've only been dosing for couple weeks but am curious what others results are in actually reducing them.

I've always dosed the recommended amount . Saying that the Pro Bio s/ NP Pro combination took a couple of weeks to ramp up. I also have a lot of media for the reduction of nitrates and phosphates. I use Life Bio fill, marine pure spheres and also have 15 liters of siporax in my sump.

Were your nitrates elevated at all when you started or have they just remained steady with their use?

Mine were elevated at about 10ppm and then dropped like a rock after a couple weeks. My suggestion would be to cut back on the food some and increase the frequency and size of water changes to get the nitrates down.

I believe that it will be the case that they will all of a sudden drop because I saw that when I was using it last year (before I had a Dino outbreak which really set back the tank). I was also using pro bio f at the time though.

Correct , it's better to just go slow and let it happen naturally.
