I plan on getting a coral like the picture posted below. Not quite sure it’s the exact same species but it’s close. It’s at my LFS and it’s been there for months. I’ve heard they’re not easy to care for - low lighting, targeted phyto. I have Kent phytoplankton and also feed corals reef roids. I run a nutrient-heavy system.

I plan to place in the corner of the tank where the flow gets sucked away and where little light reaches. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Go for it, I am more nutrient rich than you but also feed a liquid food and reef roids.
If it has been at your lfs for while it should be fine.
I have a secret weapon, an engineer goby, there are always bits in my water column! ;)

Cool. I am a firm believer in dirty tanks. By looking at mine, you can’t tell ;)
