Hey all,

I just completed my NSA aquascape and I used stone fix from Aquaforest to put broken pieces of Marco rock together.

There is quiet a bit of rock dust and loose cement particles on the scape. Would it hurt to hose it down in the lane way with tap water?

OK, I need to ask questions. Maybe I'm a bit slow this morning, but I don't understand:

NSA aquascape... what is NSA?

Would it hurt to hose it down in the lane way with tap water? "...in the lane way..." What is that?

NSA - Negative Space Aquascape.
Laneway - place to park your car.

brs did a really good video on them.

I hosed mine off before putting it in the tank...no big deal.

But we need to see pics of your NSA
It’s not as “NSA” as I would have liked. But I do like how it turned out.

I just started a SPS dominated NSA bar bottom 100g. Still working through the cycle.

What is your plans for adding additional biological filtration? I added some marine pure balls to the sump

I like it...what size tank?
60cube. I had an 80 lagoon before. However I don’t have the space for a 120 so I decided to aim for a 60Sps dominated cube. Bare

yes, I think I am going to go for marine pure too and adding a filter roller

For two part, Kalk for the as long as I can.

This build is going to take me a while, going to take the time to do things methodically.

I plan to you Kalk as well. I am working on a DIY Kalk reactor using a aquamax dosing container and GHL magnetic stirrer

I'm building my first SW aquascape and I chose to go with a NSA... slow process to figure out and even more challenging that I'm doing it for a Fluval Evo 13.5 lol... I still have more pieces to add on, but I didn't want to be up the whole night. Now I just need to figure out how to start a build thread on here...

Looks amazing! One benefit to the pile of rock scape was fish had better hiding and sleeping space. Any area that has an overhang will be prime real estate for fish. Addin a few hiding space now is better than adding them later, as I found out fish will still fight for that first spot
