Hi guys,

I noticed some of my frags were losing colour and decided after testing all parameters and them coming back spot on for what I run I decided to dip them. WOW the amount of flatworms that fell of these corals was unbelievable!

My question is how often can I/Should I be dipping them now as I'm sure there will be eggs.

I have added Flatworm RX to the tank to see if that will help too.

Cheers

where they acros? Or what type of corals? Do you know what type of flatworms they where or have a pic?

You will need to re dip every few days or at least once a week for while. I would use a soft toothbrush while you dip them to brush them off specially around the base. May help to also add a wrasse to the tank if you don't already or if you can. Look for a wrasse that eats these things. Im pretty sure 6 lines do but are very aggressive, there are others just not 100% which ones.

Yes it was AEF and only found them on one type of frag. I added a sixline last week would you believe but not for this exact reason:)

Ok so I can dip them a few times this week then?

maybe the sixline will help then.

You can do 1 or 2. its going to stress the coral out. i would say if you just dipped, do the next at the end of the week like friday or saturday. lets say every 4 or 5 days. During the dip lightly brush the coral with soft brush like a tooth brush to brush them off and possibly eggs. If you see eggs brush them off!
