nuclear deaths fused/2 mouths

The first thing I do when I get home from work is dig up every frag my pistol shrimp and watchman bury. Noticed this after digging up my cornbred nuclear deaths. I've seen stuff like this before, just thought I'd share. Anyone know why this happens?

Actually more then likely it's 1 polyp splitting into 2. I've seen this a few times before
