Nuclear Green Paly brown out

Has this ever happened to any one? Bought a small colony around the end of January, and it immediately turned brown on me. I thought it was my light intensity, so I put it the corner of my tank. No dice... still looking dull brown. The previous owner had them in a 10 gallon with cheap Chinese leds. I have 2x hydra 26hd on my Nuvo 20.

Not sure why this would happen.Seems they should have colored up for you by now.Do you have a photograph available?

Mine browned out when my No3 spiked and once lowered they were even better looking than when 8 first picked them up. How’s you NO3/PO4?

Why so much light for such a small tank? One hydra 26 is enough for the foot proof that tank.
