My NG are startig to get spotty...anyone know why this could be?

I would say its from to much light. It looks pretty cool.

Yup, mine did that when in too direct lighting under the metal halide.

they are up pretty high under direct MH...will move them down!

Wow. Kinda cool. I've put them in all kinds of conditions and never had them morph at all. Higher flow is the only thing that has been consistient.
