Hi Folks

I have three polyps of the afforementioned. My question is - how large are your Nuc Green Polyps ? Mine are slowly growing but i was expecting them to be at least double the curerent size. Presently i guess that the largest one is 7mm or so in diameter. The stunner on my Club-Zoa calendar looks huuuuge ! ?

I think Marvin has taken a picture before with a quarter as a scale reference. His polyps was a wee bit smaller then the quarter I believe. Mine right now are fairly small, but I have only had them for a month or two.

I have posted this same question in the past. Mine are small. A little larger than a pencil eraser. They are multiplying OK but the polyps are very small. If anyone knows how to make them larger please let me know!

I have had them stay small and reproduce at a faster rate then large ones while still staying small. Imy main polyps are about the size of a quarter as posted. I found that they grow faster(get bigger) when they have multiple polyps attached to each other. I try and frag more then one polyp attached to each other hoping that they will get bigger faster.....But in time they will get big I would try and feed them as well mysis, cyclop-eeze, daphnia.....

Rich can you post a pic of yours?

I will try to get a nice picture over the next few days Darren. The polyps are small though and have some white speckles on them too. These are protopalythoa with a rubbery spreckled stolon and mat rather than the plain grey mat we usually see.

Can i asume that your Nuc Greens are the same folks ?

Thanks, and thanks for the extra info guys - appreciated :)

All Nuclear Greens take up sand and ditritus into the tissue so you sould see white stuff in the stolens. Samething as the PDs and most other propalys or palys or whatever they are.....:)
