Many f the nuke greens I have seen have long stalks, these have no stalk at all. The fleshy part is purple and the latgest is about dime sized. Also, the skirts are the same color green as the body.

i dont personally have any nuc. greens but i have seen many of them with hardly any stalk at all..

See, the thing about mine is that they have the exact same body, but the skirts are different and the color of the fleshy part is different. Plus they have no stalks. They are closer to the ones in the bottom photo, but have green skirts. Same form, just different color skirt. The green in the bottom photo is exactly the same as mine.

those are the same frag btw, bottom is when I first got them, top is the rock I chose to glue them down to.

LOL. Well there you have it. HAHAHA. SO mine look like yours did when you first got them. Only they are not frags and have not recently been glued.

not nuc greens. just reg palys. if they are not greyish when closed or don't have a greyish skirt then their not nuc's

I like mine better, LOL. Thanks guys.

Yoours are just button polyps. I had the same ones, they were brown button polyps and morphed green just like yours under MH's. They grow like weeds. I finally got them all out of my tank. Basically gave away about 100 polyps.

You call them "just" button polyps. I call them sweet green nectars. And I am going to sell them on ebay for $50 per. LOL. JK. But seriously. Scientifically there is no difference is there? I mean, Nuclear Greens is not exactly a latin name for what people are paying high dollar for. So what exactly are people paying for when the buy these high priced palys? And why are ones that are, IMO, better looking considered "just" regular?

its all in the details, the nuc greens are a shade of green that buttons cant touch. its a lime green thats, "nuclear" the skirt looks silver and they aren't the fastest grower.

The more I research the less I understand. Mine are actually as bright or brighter than those. I'll try to take better pics again later. I just have a regular old point and shot with no way to change settings. I have searched for "green button polyps" like mad and there is nothing on Google that looks like what I have here. Also, zoaid has nothing. The NGs are the closest, but the skirts are obviously different on mine. I'll keep up the search.

No luck. My camera cannot capture it. Sorry. But thanks for all the help. If I don't find more like it soon I am going to name them myself.
